I am a certified Exercise Physiologist through American College of Sports Medicine. I earned my BS in Health, Human Performance and Recreation (Major: Exercise Science). I have been exposed to wide range of demographics over many years which combined with my own experience of injuries and recovery gave me unique perspectives into progression process of fitness continuum. As a result, despite having earned a BA and MA in English literature I decided to pass my skills (which I picked up as an athlete and trainer) on to others.
I have over 15 years of experience being trained as an athlete and training others. I have experience working with post injury rehab, strength and power Training, performance enhancement, corrective functional and mobility training, weight loss, putting on lean muscle mass and cardiac rehab.
I am excited to be part of the MACRO research team at Washington University School of Medicine, studying ways to help older adults with cardiac problems live healthier lives. Ask me today for more information about the MACRO (Modified Application of Cardiac Rehab for Older Adults)!
