Before joining the Healthy Mind Lab in 2017, Roz conducted microbiology research at SLU’s Doisy Research Center focusing on the Hepatitis B virus and developed FRET assays to best examine the target DNA polymerase. At the Lab, Roz worked on the Better Brain trial investigating the use of an antidepressant in conjugation with a cognitive training program to assess remediation of age-related cognitive decline. Currently, Roz is coordinating the intervention arm for our NIH trial looking at the Modified Application of Cardiac Rehab for Older Adults (MACRO) and pursuing his MBA at the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis.
